Bonus Pictures and Resting Spot Suggestions

This is mostly for the donors and patrons who can access all bonus pics and the special resting spots in Invasion D. But everybody who wants to can participate.

Lately I ran a bit out of ideas for new pics. So I thought, why not ask my players for suggestions? ^^

The Bonus pics are all non canon, so pretty much anything goes that I can realize in TDCG.

The Resting spots follow a couple of rules:

-Pictures should be equally distributed among the characters. ATM there are 2 pics for Tiassa, 2 for Cocki, 1 for Tiassa and Cocki, 2 for Roha and 2 for Shooga. So 9 in total.
-The pics are canon and should suit the location and situation. For example: A Character masturbating at an inn is OK, a character getting raped by a ghost unicorn on top of a giant floating turtle is not (although I could probably do that).
-No encounters with non party characters. For example you can't have Blechsack suddenly showing up and have a round with one of the party members or another character who is not playable.
-Nothing a that is out of character. Like Jack suddenly finding his preference for other guys or something like that.

Give me your suggestions in the comments or in one of the forums. If I like it, I'll try to make the pic.
If you want to I can add your nick to the pic, like a signature.

I'm eager for to read your ideas. ^^

Aaaand back!

Hi everybody, sorry for my absence over the past few weeks.
There had been some issues in my private life, namely in the family, that had to be taken care of.


I wasn't much at home, so I did not have much time to work on the game or to tend to emails and stuff.

I'm trying to catch up right now with the emails and donor related issues.

I should have more time now, unless something unexpected comes up again.

That's it for short, hopefully I'll have more to show for again next week.

The main point is that I'm back at work. I missed my little characters, time to make them go through hell again. ^^

-fixed another game freeze bug that occurs after you tried to talk to Klaras mother and
 go back to Klara to talk to her.

The future of this blog

Googles Change of Terms of Service are making it necessary to make some changes to this blog, if I want to keep it.

Meaning: No more NSFW pictures on this blog.



I'm going to export my screenshot gallery to a separate gallery outside of this blog and new images will be censored if they contain nudity. Uncensored Versions will be published in this external gallery.

The ToS talks about pictures and videos, so I think links to NSFW material is still going to be OK, unless google decides to push the stick up their ass even further upwards.

Be careful, google, push it to far and it's gonna hit your brain.

Sunday News! On Tuesday!

Again late, but there was not so much new stuff to talk about and to be honest, there still isn't.


I'm finally done remaking all the lost pictures and I'd rather not say how many it turned out to be (more than 1000 - for one minigame).

I began building the mini game and it's about 1/3 done. I will be followed by a regular H-Scene, if you do everything right.

Fixed a couple of Anti Lag related bugs with the help of loyal Tester Mickele.
Turns out VXA does sometimes make mistakes when saving a project. The result were a couple of events set from action button to autorun, making the game freeze or switches graphics.

If you do experience bugs like these, please tell me.

Also there's a bug in the current release, giving you 1 EP each time you use Demonic Transformation. So unless you do not want a super evil Jeff, try not to use it too much.
I fixed the bug, but in the current state of the project I can not patch it.
Firstly because I'm still in the middle of building the minigame and secondly because the tests and adjustments for the anti lag script are not completed yet.

I'm going to upload a fixed version soon, once the anti lag tests are done.

And I looked for ways to shrink the file size of the graphics and stumbled upon some helpful tools.
The first testrun saved ~20% of space, which is nothing to sneeze at, especially looking at the new pics. I might break the 1 Gig Mark with the full release.

Also, I have one or two requests to make.

As you know, I'm making a little money from the linkbucks clicks and the downloads from rapidgator and uploaded. 
If you do not want to or can't donate, that's alright, but if you still want to support me, maybe spend a bit of bandwidth and time and just click the links and download stuff, even if you already have the files. ^^
Every bit of support is appreachiated.

Another thing. I noticed that there are Versions of Invasion D floating around on porn forums and torrents. I'm OK with torrents, as the sites that provide them link to my blog and give me word of mouth.
If you want the latest up to date version, you'll find it here of course. Torrents are usually outdated releases and very probably full of old bugs.
What I do not find OK is offering DDLs on forums without crediting me and not linking to my blog.
It takes a way from my revenue and gets me almost nothing in spreading the word.

So spread the word if you stumble upon links which are obviously not mine. And Spread the word wherever you can because you are just awesome fans. ^^

Bad News... and Sort of Good News(?)

So what has been announcing itself over the last year finally happened...

Fatal Hard Drive Crash.



My old Machine is just too hot (meaning it's heating like a mofo). I have a fan to blow air on it now for the last year. I put it on 2 now. More cooling, but also more noise.

Still saving up for a new machine, so Little steaming laptop has to keep heating my winter days... and probably summer days, too. Hope the GPU does not die next.


I bought a new hard drive today. There goes another 140 Euros... :P

The bad news:
I lost all the pictures I made last week and this week... about 400.
1 and 1/2 weeks for nothing. :P

The Good News:
I made backups of my development folder just yesterday, so at least I was able to recover my project without loss.

I said it once, I said it again:

ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR IMPORTANT FILES! NOT ONCE BUT AT LEAST TWICE!

Well... It's back to square one now I guess.

Hope you had a better day than I had.

Sunday Morning News

Good morning, here's the breakfast news!

Progress this week:

I'm on new medication for my sleeping problem. And it's great. I have so much more energy and have been spinning like a tornado since last Sunday. In a good way.

I'm getting a "new" (read "used") car, gonna have to sell my old one first though. Let's hope I get at least a little money out of the clunker... I fear the radio inside is worth more than the tin can around.

Oh... Yes.... The game...





The first longer sequence for Chapter 7 is about half done, half done because there is an H-Scene in the middle of it and it turned out to be a bit more complex than I had initially planned.



By now I made 314 (!!!) Pics for the Scene and it's not even close to being done. Why so many pics? Because it has many independently moving parts and is a mini game. Aside from the micromax Minigame it has to be the second most elaborate minigame yet. But it does not feel much like work. Actually I'm having a lot of fun with it. ^^

back later, you should no longer run into a palm.

-new Noja scenes, Foo Blow job rebuild scene and Shooga Beach rebuild scene are now
completely skipalbe.

Update 0.4.5 (and patch 0.4.5B! Because I'm a Mega-Idiot... again...)

Finally!
Here's the new update!

This Update adds a new sidequest for Noja on the Southern Islands.
Of course, to play it, you need Noja in Jeff's Party.



After Jeff met Cheeree and agreed to meet her at sundown, return to your bungalow and use the bed. Choose the Option to nap and Noja goes on to solve a mystery...

Yes! Give it to her!
Punishment in 3 - 2 - 1...

3 H-Scenes are unlockable in this Quest, one is Donor exclusive, one is more ecchi and has hidden Donor Content at the end (19 additional pics).

I hope you're not afraid of spiders, Noja...
OK, apparently she LOVES spiders!
What's also new is, that Foo is a full blown thief now. Meaning, she can steal item form enemies and has her own item to learn new skills. The skills revolve mostly around stealing of course.


I'm going to take a few days off now and play other games. The newest Version of Overwhored is still waiting for me. XD
So have fun with the update and please please please do not find too many bugs....

Edit: Just when I thought everything was fine, I forgot to add a battleback to the Lanakwin Prison and a blank page to the Queen Barrel event.... So here comes Patch 0.4.5.b.... :P

Quick news: No Update today

That's pretty much everything newsworthy today.

Still have not all CGs ready for the Noja Quest. I would have, but I had and still have to remake about half of them because I was not satisfied with the result. Also the CGs needed a lot of post editing.

I tried to have the update ready today, worked through the night from Friday to Saturday and the whole Saturday to catch up, but today I was just exhausted and my significant other finally stepped in and demanded that I take a break and do nothing today. Which was probably for the best.

In other issues, it looks like the new anti lag script is making problems in the older parts of the game.

Unfortunately, I can not patch this problem because it's a script issue. I have deactivated the script in my dev version for now and will have to make a couple of replays to see where it makes problems.

The update will still have the script implemented, but deactivated too.

So I just have to ask for your patience. The Update is coming, just not today, but withing the next few days.

Early News

A little early this week, but here are the news.

I'm almost done with the Noja Sidequest and I'm probably going to release it on Sunday.
I would have had it ready earlier, had I not run into a some problems and had I not decided to extend it a bit more. I added an alternative route in the quest, including a second H-Scene.
Still have to make a couple of more CGs though because one of my models just would not act in the animations as intended.

The script for Chapter 7 is finally complete (has been for a week now).
After the release I'm finally going to begin to hack the story bits into the maps.
As I already said before, I added MOGs Anti lag script, which is really nice - accept when it makes
trouble.
But I'm positive that I can get around that.

Meanwhile, I've been playing with the idea of getting a patreon account as many of my colleagues have.
So I'm asking you, my players, if you think this would be a sensible idea .

Patch 0.4.4a (Edit: Patch was broken. Fixed and reuploaded.)


This patch is not perfect but it should fix an issue where for some reason Noja is added to the party
In Chapter 5, making it impossible to reenter the Asylum after Roha escaped.
It also SHOULD remove and unregister Noja as a Party Member after her Quest in Chapter 5 and
to be sure I added the remove and unregister commands to certain key events during chapter 5.




If Noja should still appear somehow in Chapter 5 after her Quest, please let me know and if you can provide a save and description of the circumstances when she is added.

Also, this patch lets you start a sidequest for Noja on the southern island WHICH IS INCOMPLETE!

After you met Cheeree near the portal site and have to wait until sundown, use your bed in your bungalow and DO NOT CHOOSE THE LAST OPTION!
The Quest will start, but you will not be able to complete it and you're going to be stuck in that quest.

I'm going to release an update probably next week with the complete Quest.

News: Maps, Anti Lag Scripts, Rewrites, Filehosters and Theft

Sunday evening news time!

This week I made a couple of new maps and if I am not wrong, then there is only one more map to complete and then I'll have all I need.



There's a lot of stuff going on on the large map, even though I did not add any story relevant events yet, which worries me a bit because I had some serious FPS drops on said map.

I tried to work around that by setting up enemy and village zones. Meaning, enemy events and events related to villages and such do only appear if you are inside such a zone.  This way I was able to get ~5 FPS more out of the map.

Additionally I added MOGs Anti lag script, which is neat because - unlike other anti lag scripts I came across -  it can be deactivated if needed and overall is very user friendly.

Still, it can make problems, like when an event location is set manually and the event moves outside the updated area, causing a crash. So I'm going to have to tweak it a bit more than I already did.

Also, I rewrote a good chunk of the script. Originally I wanted to have Jeff do most of the work in this chapter, but decided that it was too Jeff centric and I like this new version much more then the first draft.

Made a couple of new battlers and set up the troops.

Concerning mega alternatives for the people who can not access mega for whatever reason,
I have not yet found a filehoster which TOS and performance I would find acceptable.
I though billionuploads would be a good choice, but I have not yet received my verification mail, although I registered on Monday...

Lastly, Foo has a couple of new skills now, or better, has one new skill and her own new item to learn new skills.
Don't know why it did not occur to me sooner, but since she is a thief, she should be able to steal, right?

Well, she can now. ^^

I added Yanfly's Steal Items script and it works pretty well.
Aside from the simple steal skill she has now, I build a couple of new skills around this basic skill.
Adding the stealable items to the battler list was a pain in the ass though at the beginning because I fucked up and added the wrong item number (identifies the items) in the comment box for some items.
Of course, I only noticed this when I had already added the script lines to every single enemy (around 160) ...
So I had to check each end every enemy again for the wrong numbers and correct them. :P

But it was worth the time.

Update 0.4.4

This is just a small update.

The update was mostly necessary because I added new graphics and a new script, making future patches difficult.





Detailed changelog:

-fixed a bug that would cause the fire effect in Syras Scenes to persists when viewed from the gallery.
-a couple of Shooga's scenes where not viewable from the gallery or showed the wrong scene - fixed
-on the southern island map a couple of chests were not reachable - fixed.
-The fist fight with Blechsack was changed. The fight is now inevitable and there is no longer a choice. Also the Dialogue was changed and Blechsack is weaker (1500 HP instead of 2000).
-small changes to Steppe map.
-fixed a small bug at the Moosheim Inn upper floor where you could walk through a table.
-Photobook access is now blocked after the Tower Battle to avoid a bug that causes the screen to stay black after leaving the bonus pictures gallery.
-Foo/Jack Blow job Scene was remade. New Scene is Donor exclusive.
-Ban Ban Village Maps have been remade
-Lanakwin Village map remade
-Lanakwin's chamber blocking lights events replaced by picture overlay
-added Yanfly Move Restrict Region v1.03 script
-lots of typo fixes

Hi!

First of all,
I decided to call the Status posts News from now on.

So what's the news?



1) Update:

I'm going to release a new small Update later today, not much new stuff, but it's necessary because I added new scripts and graphics including a new DC H-Scene.

I'm going to add detailed log on what else is new in the Update post.

2) Progress:

Spent a good chunk of the last week on bug fixes, but also continued writing and preparing the new maps.
Still have to make a couple of smaller maps but I think most of the maps I need are done.

Writing is going well. The rough script is still not 100% to my satisfaction, but at least the first draft is done.


Steppe Map and Lanakwin's Village map combined and new areas.


3) Plans for the future:

I estimated once, that the whole game would have 12 chapters.
But now I think it might be less, maybe just 10.

My goal is to finish the whole game within the next year. That means that I'm going to put a lot more time into the development than I already do. Maybe 5-6 hours a day if I can.

After Invasion D is finished, I have already plans for a new game.
The working title for now is "Parasite Principal".

Synopsis:
You are the last survivor of an parasitic alien race, which a long time ago tried to conquer the earth.
Your race was defeated by heroes, who appeared out of nowhere and you are the last survivor.

After you hatched from an egg, you will have to find a host and reproduce/increase your power without being detected by heroes and subsequently killed.
Your host is going to be the principal of the local school.

Goal of the game is survival.

It's not going to be as story heavy as Invasion D and will be much more modular.
Meaning I'm going to release a complete game and Updates will only add new quests/heroes.

H-Scenes are not going to be made with TDCG, instead I'm going to use hand drawn images.
Meaning I have to practice a lot. ^^

New Year's Status

Happy New Year everybody.

Here's a quick status update.

I was mostly busy making a new huge map which combines the Lanakwin's Village and The Steppe maps and adds new areas beyond the gates of Lanakwin's village.

While I was at it, I put some work into giving Lanakwin's and Ban Ban's Village an overhaul:

Both maps needed a couple of adjustments so the events can work properly.
I know I could have left them as they were, but after I decided to merge the above mentioned maps and add new buildings, the old maps just looked ugly and out of place.

Also, I replaced the blinking sprites in Lanakwin's chamber with an image overlay.
Before I did this, each sprite was a single event, which really brought the FPS down.

I did not spend much time on writing over the last 2 weeks, mostly because I took a week off (duh) and because the new large map took a lot of time to complete.

Another reason is that, after I stuffed Santa with enough cookies, he dropped a graphic tablet under my Christmas tree and I was eager to try this new toy out...

....aaaand got a bit carried away. ^^
If you don't know what to play until the next update, I recommend Overwhored.It's a pretty fun game with lots of naked ladies to enslave.
