Fixes and changes the following:
-started to replace the the random battles with visible standard enemy sprites
-fixed a bug that keeps you from entering Cocki's house
-fixes a bug that starts the escape conversation in the mole burrow too early
Patch 0.4.3.1i
Additionally you will need this file to apply the patch.
graphics.rar
Extract it and copy the contents into the main game folder.
The file Structure should be: ID v0.4.3.1\graphiccs\characters\enemy cloud.png
Edit:
The random battle replacement applies to all maps up until Chapter 4.
So the Fatienobel maps and sub-maps still have random battles.
Sneakers still work, meaning, if you equip them, the enemies disappear.
What do you mean exactly by this?

I mean, will enemies be visible but unlimited, or visible and limited thus limiting the maximum level one can reach?
They re visible on the map as what they are if I had the fitting sprite or as a dark cloud. Once defeated, they respawn after a couple of seconds.

So I wanted to know... is this normal and you forgot to update the string at the top? Or is it somehow making me download an old patch?

This is not normal, it should read the current Version, being "Invasion D - (e0.4.3.1i) 10.12.2014".
Deletefilename should be "Patch_eng1418226413"
Did you install the patch correctly and delete the old patches?

My patch is in the following place, and it's the only patch in that directory
D:\ID v0.4.3.1\patches\Patch_eng1418226413.rvdata2
The new graphic file for the monster animtions is in
D:\ID v0.4.3.1\graphics\characters\enemy cloud.png
Obviously I have the RPT installed, else the game would not start. Unless I misunderstand something this is correct, right? Still, when I start the game, the header says

I am sorry to be taking up your time, I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong...
i have had this problem in the past as well. the issue i believe is the rgss3a file. this is the entire game in compressed format and precludes the patch. to get the patch to work for other games ive had to decompress the rgss3a file for the data and rename or delete it so that the rtp will actually notice the patch and real files.
ReplyDeletenvm i played with it but it is patching the game without updating the top bar version number. also if you saved on the map with cokcis house before this patch you still cant get into it
Deletei started a new game and took the no evil actions path and it isnt letting me enter or interact with cocki's house. so im very stuck because of that

Deletei tried leaving and rentering. i tried reloading. i restarted the game. last thing and i think im grasping but i seem to remember there might be a level limit thing so next is to start grinding levels to see if it will let me in. im level 9 btw if that matters.
