Status

So with no new bug reports incoming, here are some things that will change in what's gonna be V.0.4.2.

-Continuation of the story. about 25% done.
-1 new playable character
-new areas to explore.
-not yet decided: maybe I'll add another gallery for stills.
-a couple of new mini side quests
-new H-Scenes of course. 2 1/2 are done, I'm planning for at least 6 more.
-small changes to the sneakers, nothing noticeable.
-bug fixes, like the santa exploit, the triple attack, the freeze in the spider mine.
-santa event has been restructured. Now every Santa will give you the same amount of EXP for
cookies depending on how many santas you found yet and you can choose the amount of cookies you want to  give him instead giving one by one. That means find 1 santa -> get 250 per cookie, find 2 get 400, find 3 get 600 etc. Also I added choices to his dialogues so you don't have to go through his whole text every time.
-pretty important change: I added the Global Save System by Skul_. This will make it possible to access scenes in the gallery from previous playthroughs.
-another change in scripts: V.M of D.T's Window Resizer was added. Now the screen resolution is 1088*832 even in window mode.

Update 0.4.1.2a

So the bug hunt is over for now.
Everybody who reported bugs and supported me in this, thank you very much. :)

So here's what changed:

-another rework to the gallery, now to exit the menu, just press ESC
-fixed some bugs in the gallery menu that gave you the wrong or no scene and removed leftover switches I  
 implemented for testing.
 Those enabled certain scenes that you might not have cleared yet.
 If you still got the save that enabled them, considered it an involuntary Christmas present.
-changed sneakers again, really should be fixed now... (so much logic...)
-change to first Shooga H-Event, giving in to you urges now gives only 1 instead of 2 evil points.
-small adjustments to evil level requirements for certain events
-translated untranslated lines (red tautology alert!)
-fixed foofool jail H-event screen tint bug
-added animation for chicken down
-adjusted locations for some unreachable cookies
-changed initial text for roha's recruiting event on the desert island after you became her new boatsman
-bugfix: after you found Richard and killed Asrap, Roha would not appear at the harbor. she does now.
-fixed cookie bug, you will now actually get EXP if you eat them
-fixed Jeff's jailrape scene
-chicken downs do now actually decrease after you use them
-so do eggs when you deliver them
-fix to others' gallery. the scenes are in the correct order now
-changed HP Regeneration Rate from 10 to 15% and changed duration from 4 to 4-8 rounds
-various typo and grammar corrections (thx again to sadi)

v0.4.1 released

Better late than never. :)
Invasion D 0.4.1 is out and is up on UPLOADED and RAPIDGATOR.
As usual, if you have problems with those hosters, PM me at hongfire and I'll what I can do for you.
This version needs the PRG Maker VX ACE Run Time Package installed, the links is to the right
on this blog. From now no versions will have the RTP included, simply cause it would get to big.
You'll only need to install this once and you're be good for this and future versions.

Hope you'll have fun with it.

-IMPORTANT: due to changes in earlier events older savegames are no longer compatible :(

Considering Version Numbers

I thought that I will no longer number versions the way I did until now.

With the upcoming v0.4 I come to the end of mostly finished content that I have in stock considering playable content.
This means that the next major update, that continues the storyline, will take considerably longer than the last updates for which I had the most content done before I released 0.1.

Looking at my notes and scripts numbering each major update 0.X makes little sense anymore, for the finished project would have version number 1.5 or something, making it somewhat confusing.

So I think I will start to release big story updates as chapters.

V0.1 - 0.3 count as chapter I-III.

Accordingly v0.4 will be called Invasion D  Chapter IV (v.1),
v0.5 Chapter V (v0.1) etc.

If you'd like to make suggestions or have better ideas, I'd be happy to hear them. :)


I think I made...

... about 200 Pics over the last 2 days. And I'm still not done with everything I need for 0.4.

I think I counted 4 small and 5 big H-Scenes, so a total of 9 new scenes will be in 0.4.

 But I might still add some extras.

I also came to realize that I have been focusing to much on the evil path and that the evil choices gives you more H than the good path. Need to balance that out a bit.

Update 0.302

Nothing big

v0.302 English
-translated misses skill aura blade
-fixed a small bug in lanakwins castle that would give you the wrong message when you try to leave the floor
-added missing graphic for the no rtp version

No RTP Version missing graphic and fix

Seems there is a missing graphic in the no RTP version.
I uploaded a FIX. Simply put the folder "graphics" into your main game folder and you should be good.

Once again, sorry for the inconvenience. :(

The German versions and updated English versions follow today.

Uploaded no RTP versions

You can now download a smaller version without the Run Time Package.
Anyway, you will still have to download the RTP and install it to play the game.
You will only have to install it once to be able to play non RTP Versions, which are significantly smaller than the versions with the RTP included.
This makes updating easier since you will not have to download big files any time I update the game.

Glitch in 0.3

Fixed a glitch in 0.3 that would transport you to the wrong location when you try to exit the kings castle.

Sorry for the inconvenience again, some how RPGVXA seems to mix up map IDs from time to time.

V0.3 English done

Quicker than I thought I got the english version done.
The German version follows withing the next days.

 Invasion D (E) Demo 0.3

Changes:
V0.3
-added color highlights for Jack's good/evil decisions
-reworked more pictures
-small changes to event structures, especially for H-events
-corrected typos and missed translated lines
-added about one hour of game play
-small bug fixes
-removed an unreachable chest in Ban Bans village
-some small changes to classes, skills, items and characters, especially Jeff
(thx to mindfields for pointing out typos in the german version in detail)

English Version V0.2 out

I recomend this version for english users.

Invasion D V0.2 English



SPOILER WARNING:













Changes:

- Added a warning for the first H-Scene. Why you ask?
It's a prison rape scene involving only men.
So skip it if you do not want to see that kind of stuff. It's the only scene of that kind.

- Added an explanation for the H and Y options before that scene since it caused some confusion, but only there for now. Will maybe scrap that thing completly in later versions. I'll explain it here again. H makes you watch, Y lets you skip it.

- Corrected some typos and edited a couple of dialogs.

- Added about 45 minutes of gameplay, V0.20 (E( now has the same length as V0.21 (GER) and has one more H-Scene than 0.11.

- Translated some lines that I missed in V.11, but there might still be some left.

Known bugs:

- After the fight with Asrap in Lanakwin's village do not safe on the second floor of the castle (the floor where they keep Ban Ban). The game will not crash but there's a bug when you load the save that makes Jeff and Cocki appear at the entrance. They are not supposed to be there. Save the game on the first floor instead.

- Another save bug: If you save after you talked to Fister and he opened the secret passage, the passage will be closed again when you load the game. Anyway, you can open it again by using the bookshelf.

- When you do the above, only do this twice till you can enter the passage. If the column touches the upper wall the game will freeze cause it can not move.

- in the torture chamber a wall was passable that should not have been. Fixed that.

- a battler graphic was missing, put it back in.

- an overlooked untranslated page after the attack on the village translated. 

V0.21 German is out, too. Same changes basicaly.

English Demo complete!

I finished version 0.1 of the english demo today.
It has the same content as the V0.1 German Demo i.e.

5 Sex Scenes (one optional)

I'm uploading it right now and will provide the link on the download page when it's done.

I did not spellcheck much, if someone finds major errors, plz, comment.

One might find the translation a bit rough, might need some refinement, but right now I'm eager to continue with the actual game development, so that's not my #1 priority right now.

I will release V0.2 of the German Demo as well. I made some corrections and fixes and added about 45 minutes of additional gameplay.

Demo Problem & Fix


Seems like there is a problem with the virtualisized Demo Version causing an error message and making the demo unplayable. Might be a Virus Scanner or Windows update issue but frankly I have no idea. ^^

Sorry for that, did not notice that when I uploaded the demo, it ran just fine when I tested it.

Nevertheless I uploaded a unvirtualized version.
Sorry again for the inconvenience. ^^

Welcome to Mentaldrama. This is the release and information blog for my Hentai RPG Invasion D.
Currently the game ist still in development..

Invasion D is a RPG Maker VX Ae RPG settled in the Dark Fantasy genre and is intented towards adults.

Pictures and graphics apart from RPG Maker conteted are creatd by myself or using 3D Custom Girl.



The story:
A young man finds himself on a desert island without any recollection of how he stranded there. Soon he is drawn into the conflict of two competing vilages. Our protagonist Jack calls the amnesic man Jeff. Together they  stumble into a whirl of friendship, love, betrayal, war, the struggle with their own inner demons, a thread from dark forces that are up to conquer their world and of course - sex.
The whole issue is aggravated by the strange order of the human world, that keeps man and women strictly separated. Jack is confronted with decission, that will not just determine his own, but the fate of the whole world.

The project as a whole is still in it's infants. The current gaming time is about 5 hours but will be considerably longer when it's done.
The gameplay is classic RPG style with some modifications by myself.

Momentarily there is a  1 hour demo available, but only in german yet, which is the language that the game is written in primarily.
An english translation is in work nevertheless.
